Nika Fadul

Meet Mônica. She is a 19 year old who lives in Brazil and has got more talent in her than hairs on her head. 

In her profile she tell us to 'see the world through her eyes'. I love love love that she says that. I think that's like the foundation of art. But anyways, she definitely has a great imagination if I'm looking through her eyes. For example, one of her sets is called Antigravity Blues. This set is all about different ways to redefine gravity. She has everything from people looking like they're flying away to people jumping up in the air. It is an awesome idea to try redefine something that is so concrete.

Another great set that she has is call Getty Images. A good portion of the pictures are portraying a stanza of a certain song. Like take the song Leaving Home by the Beatles. Mônica shows that by shooting a girl who is climbing out of her window by a sheet. I think these are such creative ways how to look at something that you hear.
